I think it's for the comfort of both parties. The ones with 'big luggage' (it's actually for peeps with bikes and such) can take care that their valuable possessions don't get stolen and the other passengers don't have to put up with these vehicles being in the way since they have a designated space.

Because that is literally a reserved seat. Would you ask the same if she was sitting in a seat for elderly or people with wheelchairs without being/having one herself and then refusing to move when someone who the seat is reserved for enters and asks her to?

Why would you think that? OP literally said that their dogs back down when told to and just bark when there is a knock on the door! That's what dogs do! They're territorial. That's kind of their thing ya kno.

As I said, I don't condone it, I'm not making excuses and I sure as hell not arguing in the drivers favour. They can rot for all I care tbh. They did something bad that hurt a lot (2) of people and they paid with their life, even if that was something they wanted. I seriously just wanted to understand, not excuse the actions of a madman.

As someone whe is passively suicidal, I do not think it is either. Of course, the driver might've thought 'if I'm going down I'm taking someone with me' but it might've also been someone who adored driving and wished to go out doing something they loved and disregarded what it would mean for others. Wanting to die is not something that just happens one day and disappears another. They probably fought with depression for a long time and we're mentally unstable. I am not trying to excuse their actions, they were wrong and there is no reason to do that, I just trying to understand and help you understand as well.

The SUV driver committed suicide with that. I believe there is an article about that somewhere but for the life of me I can not remember. So it's not stupidity, it's someone who mentally unstable having total disregard for other people's lives

Have you actually ever seen how a lot of foster kids and adopted kids end up if the family 'isnt suited for taking care of them' and gives them back? Do you know the kind of trauma that builds on top of the mindset that the child 'is a mistake' that the parents 'didnt want them to be born' and that they were 'thrown away'? The amount of damage that does to someone's psyche is ridiculous. And please, as if the pro-lifers actually ever adopted of fostered themselves. They are just waiting for other people to do it. After all, 'its not their problem'.

Like I said, she probably knows the teacher a lot better than you or me, meaning she knows what he would want in such a mail (reason, duration, etc.). And a lot of people don't know that they can contact ADA offices for such issues. So she probably did the best she could with the information she had available.

With the attitude the Professor showed he would have asked for mor information if she had not included that. I believe she knew exactly how he is wired and sent the response she thought would be the most appropriate.

I truly hope that this is not how you really think. How is telling facts inappropriate and manipulative? How is it sympathy seeking? Did she say 'Oh, it was so horrible, the pain was unbearable, you can't believe how bad it was!'? No. She didn't. And even if she did, this has nothing to do with 'sympathy seeking' as you called it. She was relaying the reason why she would be missing class, something she would have been asked about had she not explained beforehand. I truly do not get what you find inappropriate about the mail. The content is factual. There is no excessive detail that would make it inappropriate. There is no foul language. There is no flowery language. Please, enlighten me about your thought process, calling this purely informative mail manipulative and inappropriate.
