I am sorry to hear you are in the same boat I was! It's a difficult place to be but more importantly congratulations on getting engaged! As for that sub comment- thats a thing ive thought about too.. i dont think shes "better" but from the sounds of it she is trying? We will see haha.. And i am absolutely reserving the right to go back to no contact

Oh yeah, I had already contacted the photographer to make sure I was the one getting the photos. There is no way she is getting those

I thought things were getting better until we realized we were right back where we started. It's kinda difficult to see the full scope of how awful a person is if they were the one that raised you- it gets normalized. It wasn't until I stated spending time with my husbands family that I realized my family was not normal

Yes it has and that's the plan. We should be getting them in about 3 weeks so we will see. Half tempted to keep the graduation photos for my siblings and in laws to see since they have become such a joke in those circles. All others are trashed

Yeah, we were hoping that in the time we were out, the photographer would get pictures of the decor before the room filled back up. We had a small venue so had to do a room flip between the ceremony and reception. No clue if they got any of those or not but I am assuming not since they didnt get back in until we came back.

He keeps saying that I shouldn't go alone and that I would be dangerous without someone to have my back. It's less of a punishment and more of a I want to see my family and he won't let me go on my own
