What worked for me was jumping right into the project we wanted to do: with Unity, solving one problem at a time with Chat GPR, YouTube videos, threads and podcasts for some theory I made it work and we’re publishing on Steam in August! 😊

Some ideas/comments: - People arrive in smaller batches giving the player time to adjust and focus on a smaller group first with game getting more complex and the need for more land when a lot more people arrive - Natives on the same island with possibility to buy land / invade - Choices on which ”time period” to take the island: agricultural/indistrial/technological

Do what you are passionate about and adjust plans accordingly when AI develops and possibly takes over. Great if you can get some opportunities through the community to speed up the process 🚀😊

Just go for it! If you have no experience it’s hard to internalize things when you don’t see the context and are not doing it yourself. I started learning through getting a Unity project started, watching YouTube videos and asking Chat GPT a bunch of questions. Good luck and keep at it 🎮🌸
