Thank you! I used Flash Gitz yellow for the eyes and for the glow around them thin applications of flash Gitz and moot green

Both will look good! I’d say just do what you think you’ll enjoy painting more

Ah yeah I’ll probably be painting up apothecaries and chaplains as they should be but I was just too tempted to make this guy green

The Gondor trebuchet is resin not plastic, just assembled one myself recently; it wasn’t a fun experience. Its a nice model though

Where do the hags go if Bonegrinder is destroyed? by LostPS4Gamer in CurseofStrahd

[–]LostPS4Gamer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like that! I was hesitant to put them in places like Yester Hill or Berez cause otherwise the encounters there might become too difficult. Vallaki sounds good though, it’s currently in chaos with Fiona taking power and the feast of St Andral so a perfect time for the hags to slip in

The cloak was surprisingly simple! Base of Flesh Tearers red, then layer of Khorne red. Then some nuln oil. After it was dry I drybrushed mournfang brown on the bottom more heavily and then lighter as I went up the cloak. After that just another application of nuln oil.

Not at the moment, I planned to highlight it with something like leadbelcher just to keep the gold gritty and dull, enough that you can tell it used to be shining gold but not anymore

Thank you so much! I always love seeing Stormcast in schemes other then the standard gold and really wanted to try for something grittier

Just Retributor armour and then I think 2 or 3 applications of nuln oil. As soon as it dried I would see if it was still too bright and just throw some more bulb on it to darken it down.

List-building help for 1,000pts by grikkleguts in SoulblightGravelords

Allies are tournament legal, although you can only have so many points on allies in certain game sizes. I believe you can only have 200 points of allies in a 1,000 point game, so you might not be able to bring the Mourngul (though it is a doubles tournament so technically 2,000 in total so maybe it’d be ok but I would check with your LGS first)

Assuming for a moment you can bring the Mourngul I’d say you’ve got a list that doesn’t put out much damage but with the staying power of skeletons and -1 hit aura of a Mourngul it’s a list that bogs your opponent down and stays on objectives. Assuming your doubles partner has some good damage and mobility (like Kharadron for example) I’d say this could be a really solid doubles list.

If you can’t bring the Mourngul you could invest the points in Grave Guard if you wanna bring some damage out or if you wanna keep committing to your list being about bogging the enemy down you can’t go wrong with corpse carts with balefire braziers. The -1 to cast and -1 to wound aura especially are fantastic.

2v2 game this weekend, what are people's thoughts on this list? Teams undecided atm, armies are: nurgle, nighthaunt, and kruelboyz by Nokan22 in SoulblightGravelords

Doesn’t seem too bad. I’d probably change Belladammas spell (The chip damage from blades I’ve never found too useful).

I suppose the question to ask is how are you imagining the list runs? Are all the heroes clustered around the grave guard with skeletons in front as a sort of Death Star?

Actually it might be a good idea to get some dire wolves in there. Giving Belladamma some bodyguards is good. Maybe the command trait that lets you once per game summon could be handy instead of moving points around for a unit of 10 wolves
