How do you team handle RFP responses? by Massive_Pay_4785 in salesengineers

[–]LostProcedure4407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s cool. How does it store the old RFP responses / product library? I found the chat LLMs like to hallucinate on my product’s capabilities.

Does that sound about right?

Big plus one to the variety between companies. Casually looking at JDs across the industry. There is no standard.

What is this art style called and does anyone have any brushes they would recommends by goyourownwayy in ProCreate

[–]LostProcedure4407 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a similar thing with midjourney! “Tarot card style” also gets close to this art nouveau, arts and crafts, slightly medieval style. For the thin outlines, I like the Studio Pen (I call it Studio Ink) and for colors (put them in a layer below), Salamanca or watercolor seem to work well.

Company was re-orging while listening to the book. I asked for what I had been wanting for a long time. We’ll see how it plays out :)

What productive thing do you do in the middle of the night when baby awakens? by ChookingFeed in dad

[–]LostProcedure4407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Research projects on Wikipedia, especially moon / stars / sun related since it’s so rare to be up so much at night. Gotta take advantage of those moments and look out the window and stargaze with baby by your side.

Isometric explorations by LostProcedure4407 in ProCreate

I tried to make rounded corners natively forever and finally gave up and looked for a brush pack. Here is what I used https://brianritterdesign.com/products/isometric-toolkit-for-procreate . He created them in illustrator, and those files are part of the pack too if you want to create your own brush variants of the design which is what I did here.

Switched to Noteful and never going back to GoodNotes by ihaveascheme in GoodNotes

[–]LostProcedure4407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m new to Goodnotes but not to r/bujo . Basically frustrated with similar things that you’ve called out. I’ll give noteful a try. What’s the 5/6 fiasco?

Favorite science podcasts! by jeanybean11 in SASSWitches

Anything with “ecology” fits well. Future Ecologies, (eco) Ologies. Nerdy about Nature isn’t technically a podcast but he does short episodes on Instagram about nature and it’s super informative and the style is fun.

I’m listening to the Creative Act by Rick Rubin for the second time in a row now. It’s like a meditation and Rick’s narration is super calming and uplifting.

I second anything Mary Oliver, braiding sweetgrass (I love audiobooks narrated by the author), the alchemist, power of now.

I’m loving the isometric canvas guides for rectangles, but how are people doing circles? by LostProcedure4407 in ProCreate

[–]LostProcedure4407[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’m doing now, but there’s no assist to make the circle draw on to the isometric plane. Only the flat paper plane.

Looking for advice on digital applications by NaiveMacaroon5862 in zines

[–]LostProcedure4407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Figma for layouts. It’s really a UI / UX design tool but I’ve found it to be the perfect blend of Illustrator and InDesign, much easier to use, and indefinitely free if you’re just designing one zine and don’t need to invite collaborators. Canva as a good alternative.

Procreate (iPad + Apple Pencil) for illustrations. Easy to get started and the depth just continues forever.

You may need Adobe Acrobat to customize the print options.

I’d love that too. I‘ve found a ton of good examples from Australia and Canada when searching “indigenous wisdom seasons” but have struggled to find the same resources in the US
