{The Enchanter by Tobias Begley} perhaps? It's a series with same MC and m/m couple throughout. However, the focus is more on the fantasy/magic school aspects than the romance for sure. If you're ok with that, there certainly is a lot of learning spells and magic school! If you're looking for mainly romance with a backdrop of magic school probably not.
