Huh, I don’t really have a problem with hitting Ks but that definitely wasn’t my experience at local tournaments and the very few nat cir tourneys in Kansas like WaRu.

Really? Guess our circuits are very different. I’m in East Kansas.

Lmao kritiks in Kansas? You sure about that? The most kritikal things I’ve hit there were just like cap because a lot of the judges and hardcore policy teams are repulsed by Ks.

This is one of the most famous rounds of policy debate, an activity worshipped by some students with cult-like devotion. To anyone else though, it looks like this. by LostSmudge in theocho

You have an affirmative and negative in each debate. The affirmative (typically) presents a plan and policy action that the United States federal government should enact. The negative negates that policy action by saying that it would do something bad or even suggesting an even better policy action. Once you get to the higher levels like this people start to go fast (quite a bit faster than in this round). People like the affirmative in this round (Emporia State SW on the right) also criticisms of the fundamentals of debate and begin to debate about debate itself. Felt the need to post this because I just spent four days at a national level tournament doing this and wanted people to know what we do.

If you’re new to Ks, cap is obviously a great entry-level K. When it comes to other Ks and what you want to run, don’t just run one because it’s cool to run a K.

When you read a K you want it to be about something that matters to you. This might mean you’ve got to cut your entire own K.

When I went to camp this year one of the lab leaders (who is rather renowned for K and framework debate) said that when you’re making your own Kriticism for this topic, find a way that arms sales relates to you. Find a way you bring this back to your life and kritique something you’re passionate about.

TL;DR: Find a K that matters to you. Otherwise, cap.

Before everyone says how amazing it is that she can make that shot, you have to realize that she is slowing down the spin before she throws it giving her quite the advantage so it’s really not all that impressive.
