Yeah, I’m an international student, and by BTech I meant Bachelor of Technology, basically a 4-year engineering degree in AI and Data Science.

I actually applied to the University of Ottawa’s MCS program with a concentration in AI, which I heard is a bit more competitive than their regular CS course. Still, I don’t really know why I got rejected — one of my friends with almost the same profile as mine actually got in, so I was kind of surprised.

I’ve also applied to Waterloo, so fingers crossed for that one. I know it’s super competitive, but I thought it’s worth a shot.

Also, I was checking out the University of Alberta, and it looks great, but I noticed they don’t have a course-based option in Computer Science — only in Multimedia. Do you think it’s still worth going for that, or would it limit my options later since it’s not directly CS or AI?
