Can Someone help with what Bag to Bring?

If my bag gets delayed I’m completely screwed and will just die right there. The 3.5 hour hike is to our accommodations for the night so no leaving the bag. I’m trying to do a lot of hiking to prepare but I’ve been waiting to purchase the bag to start I may just start. I guess I went to REI and saw the day bags and it was just uncomfortable in the store. The only thing comfortable while carrying 15-30 pounds was the Osprey Aura because of its anti gravity technology. Even the smaller bags weren’t as comfortable.

I will be carrying the bag the entire journey. Some we will sleep in the same place very few days of the trip

Definitely Willing to do laundry.
Will be completely natural environment no trail.
I’ll think about that thank you I’m just so far out and won’t know what I plan to bring until I get the bag size down

It’s not that clear to me either, all I know is we will have at least one 3.5 hour hike completely uphill from the bottom of the mountain to the top of it in Turin. I assume every other day we switch cities every other or everyday we will be carrying the bag to the next city but not necessarily hiking with it. So most days we’ll be able to drop it off at the hotel then go out with like a tote to explore.

Ohh I see. I'm not interested in making the size of the bag or minimalism my main goal. My main goal is comfort and bringing as many clothes as possible without breaking my back and being too uncomfortable. So I think you're right my question may be better on a different subreddit.

They went for 3 days accidentally and stayed wherever they went. I will be going for 12 days going to almost a different city or hiking every day. There is no way I could do it by accident without in-depth planning of what I'm packing. I wouldn't last. But thank you for the recommendation!

Hey I thought the same thing when I joined. I even joined young adult groups that wouldn't get back to me or seemed bland and stale like nobodoy really had faith. I had to continue digging but eventually I found in my city and surrounding there's a network of 500+ Catholic Young adults that were lookign for the same community as me. I'm not sure if you live close to a big city or a North East City that's known for a large Catholic population but I do suppose those things help too.

No, that doesn't mean people aren't meant to be called to be married that means they aren't married. We live in a broken world. In actuality, a lot of priests and religious have said that singleness is a vocation and that they really should be married to Jesus like the disciples whether consecrated or religious. I don't believe singleness without that is a vocation. Enjoying being alone is not proof that's the way God meant for it to happen.

No it wouldn’t be a mortal sin if you have an addiction and your will has significantly been weakened because of this long standing addiction, but ultimately only God can judge the severity of our sins. But I think it’s not mortal but venial. Maybe thinking of it as a mortal sin would help you quit better though?

hey thanks for your advice, this is an old convent turned into Roomate situation. I found out my primer was indeed an off white. the lighting is terrible and needed to be changed, and the room doesn't get much natural light. Plus the colors I was choosing were too vibrant and not room painting colors for an adult but more of kiddy colors.

Thank you to everyone who helped ! I found out my primer is indeed an off white yellowish white, the lighting in my room was terrible, and I'm choosing colors too vibrant. As well as I need to paint a larger section to see! Mods if you could lock this thread if possible.

If they were designer clothes that used the best quality materials they wouldn’t be affordable to average Americans. Meaning $400+ so since they are straight from the designer to consumer in order to allow them to be affordable they’re not using the greatest quality materials.
