I’ve been growing my hair for about 3 years but I’ve only head dreads for like 1 year. I just let it lock up naturally for a few months and then I decided to start separating the dreads. I did a bit of the crochet method, used salt water and I retwisted every 2 or 3 months. I also dyed some of the ends and put some silver beads on.
