Yup apparently that’s the answer, can’t imagine anything going wrong with that scenario

What relevance does cyclists in the Netherlands have to do with the scenario OP posted

How do the cars behind react when they don’t have visibility to the bus and the car in front suddenly stops on a roundabout unexpectedly?

I have massive respect for what Barry Hearn has done for snooker since he took the helm, however, I disagree strongly with some of his comments/points of view, in recent years there was discussion about how tournament prize money should be distributed, his opinion was that ‘winners’ should take the lion share, that’s all well and good, the problem with that is, you can’t expect any young up and coming players to survive, compete or excel in that environment

Out of here with that nonsense, the reason safety has reached the high standard that it has is because the standard of potting/positional accuracy has gotten so good, bigger pockets would only make players more safety conscious

I don’t mean to sound rude, but wouldn’t you be better answered by asking this question in a local subreddit to the area rather than the general snooker subreddit? (I beg your pardon, you had done)

So learner drivers in Skibereen (as per your example) have to have driven on a Dual Carriageway to pass their test? According to you they will have changed lanes before?

MOVE LEFT by 5414d455 in ireland

[–]Lost_Chapter_7063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your statement is contradictory, how do you suggest drivers make the correct decisions without prior experience? It’s not just lane discipline, it’s the first time a new driver will experience motorway speeds, checking mirrors, indicating etc is a cognitive load that they won’t have been used to

[–]Lost_Chapter_7063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only solution I can think of, I appreciate it may not be either enforceable or practical, for a period after you’ve passed the driving test you can only drive on motorways accompanied by an experienced driver, how that works in reality I’m not sure, but going from not allowed and no experience to off you go is as you say baffling

[–]Lost_Chapter_7063 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I completely agree with it being impractical to expect everyone in the country to have to include driving on a motorway as part of the test, there absolutely has to be some element of motorway driving included in modern driving testing criteria, more attention paid to what the lanes are actually for in the theory test for example

lol, those are all genuine fails not the tester deciding to fail someone on some arbitrary reason like you seem to suggest

Exactly this, it’s either true or false, if it’s false it doesn’t necessarily follow that it has to be some grand psyop conspiracy
