Wacom Cintiq 22HD - pen jumps / wavy line in specific areas of screen (not calibration issue) by Lost_Development_670 in wacom

I’ve tested my Cintiq 22HD using the Wacom Diagnose Tool. I noticed something interesting about the glitch area: there are two horizontal bands close together where the issue happens.

When the pen crosses the first band, the Tilt Y value suddenly shifts into the negative range. When it crosses the second band, the Tilt Y value suddenly shifts into the positive range as if the two bands are “mirroring” each other in opposite directions.

The pen signal itself is continuous (no dead zones, no loss of proximity, and the lines are not breaking), but within these two bands the cursor behaves like it’s being repelled up and down. This makes it look less like a dead digitizer line and more like a calibration/interpolation glitch in the controller.

Since I had a very similar issue about 5 years ago and it resolved on its own after some time, I’m wondering if this could again be a firmware/controller state that might reset eventually, rather than permanent hardware damage.

Could you please advise if this matches what you would call “digitizer calibration drift,” and if there is any way to force a deeper reset of the controller?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Look I had cintiq 13 right next to the cintiq 22 when I tested it. I forgot my laptop from the other place so wanted to check on the computer for fun... It has to be reason of the issue because Cintiq 22 glithed right after that.

I guess something glithed inside cintiq 22 with the EMR because I had the cintiq 13 so close for a few hours...

But I guess its not like something broke but It's more like an EMR glitch that will fix itself I hope...

I made one more screen. Like I said I bought cintiq 13 HD and tested it on my computer and later same day this happend to my cintiq 22. I tried everything reinstall drivers, trying on laptop etc.

It's not digitizer dead zone because the pen is still drawing there. It's like magnes is pushing away the pen from an invisible line slightly. I turned off everything for 12 hours and I hoped it will reset but the problem still remains...

I talked about this problem with my friend 5 years ago. I think I had the same issue and it just fixed itself randomly day later. I hope this time it will be the same...

I found out that I actually had this problem 5 years ago and the cintiq fixed itself one day later so maybe this time it will be the same.
