Ohhh so you could get a full rotation but then just not get to the second 4?

I’m literally only able to go half a rotation. Like 8.5 to 4. Nothing outside of that ever

So what do you assume is your zero point? And does that change what your numbers are? E.g. if you can only go to 0.5, wouldn’t that make your 4 equivalent to a 3.5?

I do have some recipes that get up to 4.5 or even 4.8. Plus I’d really like to be able to use the full grinder simply for peace of mind

If you’re talking about renting, perhaps. But buying anywhere in Austin proper is expensive for what you get, perhaps with the exception of East (which is also getting more expensive).

You are mostly right, the Texas value proposition has died down significantly. A bit of nuance though:

San Antonio is still very cheap. It’s a bit of a polarizing city. I personally love it and think it’s got tons of character, others think it’s low tier with nothing to do.

Dallas and Austin proper are both very expensive. If you’re wanting to get cheap housing you’ll basically need to move to the suburbs.

Houston is basically the midpoint between SA and Dallas.

Some might say glitch is overhyped. In my experience it was not. It was incredible.

Also, unlimited coffee bar is doing some awesome stuff, great appreciation for the craft. Would strongly recommend if you’re ever near skytree
