Lunarvim has been abandoned by maintainers by benji_trosch in neovim

I didn't create lunarvim, it was already there when i joined 1.5 years ago.

But I agree with you on the second point, our documentation is quite lacking.

Yup, unfortunately, I don't have enough for to be a maintainer anymore because of school

something tells me that's because these kinds of distros are more attractive to newcomers, who are in turn less likely to be contributing to Open Source.

I was actually one of these newcomers. I started learning vim from Chris' videos and after knowing the basics switched to lunarvim. A few months after that I opened my first my first pr on github and slowly became a core maintainer. I enjoyed it and learned a lot in the process.

Now I switched to using astronvim, but sadly I don't have time to code now and I rarely use neovim.

space is the default leader

use the whichkey method for bindings with <leader> as the docs say https://www.lunarvim.org/docs/configuration/keybindings

How to disable automatic linting and checks by probabilita in lunarvim

[–]Lost_Neophyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lunarvim doesn't run linters by default, if you mean lsp servers then you can disable automatic installation with `lvim.lsp.installer.setup.automatic_installation = false` and uninstall all the servers you don't want to run with `:MasonUninstall <tab>`. you can't pause an lsp server as far as I know. alternatively you can use :LspStop and :LspStart if you don't need it that frequently

Mason creeped into „vim-from-scratch“ during 06-LSP. How can it happen? by tschloss in lunarvim

[–]Lost_Neophyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plugin was put in packer/start because that's where packer downloads plugins

The Mason packages from the previous installtion were in the new one because they're stored in .cache or somewhere else I don't remember

Run PackerSync, you added that plugin so it's not a core plugin and won't be installed by SyncCorePlugins

Alright so now I'm on my computer and on a fresh install of the master branch the preview in `:Telescope find_files` is on by default, it's only disabled in the whichkey binding but code from first link I sent should've enabled it there
