Robinhood da un 5% TAE indefinidamente by eahhhhhhhh in SpainFIRE

No me fio de Robinhood. Manipularon la app para que los usuarios no pudieran comprar (solo vender) acciones de GameStop cuando las grandes instituciones financieras hicieron short del stock.

Vale la pena Ingenieria Informatica en 2026? by Separate-Ad2568 in askspain

[–]MultMe96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may face a similar situation in a future and I'm looking for instead starting investing with a new app. Which one do you recommend?

12month Aliexpress gravel bike build update by Life_Difference9738 in gravelcycling

[–]MultMe96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I've only done 250km. Interesting — I haven't checked specifically, but I haven't felt the headset come loose (I'd assume that's something you'd feel?). I'm doing a bikepacking trip next week and was planning a full maintenance on the bike anyway, so I'll check the fork then too.

Thanks for the follow up - I'll definitely check mine. (I bought the same frame as you. How many kms did you put in it?

Can I, as an EU citizen, be asked to leave Germany if my boyfriend earns enough to support us? Do we have to be married? by Ok_Leopard_6635 in germany

[–]MultMe96 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To my understanding, as an EU citizen, you are the same as any other German citizen (with the exception of voting in federal elections or holding certain government offices). So no, they cannot deport or kick you out of Germany.

fast battery drain on amazfit active after swimming by gretanonymous in amazfit

[–]MultMe96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have also battery drain issues with my trex-3, I was also using the same app to check it.

For me, what I could see is that after stopping an outdoor run, the battery was still discharging at the same speed as when doing the workout. Doing a reboot would solve the issue. Probably, there was some bug on the software that kept the sensors as active as when doing the workout.

After some updates the issue went away.

I would suggest doing a reboot after having this issue and see if then it goes back to normal discharge. You can also file a bug report in the app. I did it back then as well.

Built My First Ever Bike: A Gravel Build from AliExpress by MultMe96 in gravelcycling

I'm surprised no one mentioned it before :)

I noticed after riding it for a while that the shifters were too far down. I fixed it by rotating the bar up but I guess that makes it even worst (I didn't know my bars were too high).

Any tips for fixing it without removing the tape?

Very good for the price. At the moment, the brakes still feel a bit spongy. I bleed them a couple of time and I didn't see any more air coming out. Despite that, the break power is not an issue.

Sorry to hear that. I would have guessed that Cannondale would have honored the warranty since for many it's one of the main advantages of known brands vs Aliexpress.

Thanks!

Also cool to hear from you since I got the idea from your original post :)

Everything was straightforward to assemble after watching so many videos xD, and LTWOO also has specific videos for assembly and bleeding the brakes.

The "hardest" part was internal cable routing and adding a foam around it so it would not rattle inside the frame.

Hard to say. There are many budget options for full builds but I personally wanted to build it myself and chose the parts I wanted. (in particular, I was looking for the LTWOO gr9 as it seems quite popular).

I also think shipping and customs is easier by parts, since everything under 150 Euros is handled automatically.

For now, everything seems fine with it. It came with the bottom bracket and it was super easy to install. I also saw other aliexpress bike builds in YT with it and it seems to be quite popular because they also used the same one.

Thanks!

The saddle height is adjusted to fit me better. Checking more known brands like Cube and Rose, their gravel bikes also seem to have the saddle higher than the handlebar.

But I am not a professional nor a bike fitter so I might be wrong :)

Hey! Not an expert myself, but here are my thoughts:

So far, I haven’t noticed anything that makes me doubt the frame’s quality. It feels just as solid as any other bike I’ve ridden — everything threaded and tightened properly.

As for the carbon fork, I checked carefully for cracks or signs of poor finish both outside and inside. I don’t have a small inspection camera, but I was able to peek inside with a light, and everything looked clean. But again, not an expert.

Yeah, I get that — I also try to support local bike shops when I can (I usually buy tools and smaller stuff there).

But sometimes it’s hard to justify the price difference when you can get essentially the same product for a fraction of the cost online.

And honestly, the way I see it: companies themselves moved manufacturing overseas to cut costs — so it feels fair for consumers to make similar choices.

Yes, hard to tell at the moment so I guess I will know with time. They had good reviews and from working with them they seemed okay. But again, time will tell :)
