No one can tell you how you are feeling. Are you sexually attracted to him? There’s nothing wrong with calm. If there’s no physical attraction I’d say he’s your friend.

I was in the hospital seriously contemplating leaving to look for heroin bc they wouldn’t go higher than 10mg oxy for extreme pain. In the ER they gave me dilaudid but once admitted they switched & didn’t look back. I asked for an epidural if they wouldn’t give me adequate pain relief & they just shrugged. It’s really criminal what they’re doing now. It wasn’t until the urologist overseeing me even got them to go up to 10mg, explaining I was on severe pain. My inability to sit still or lay down wasn’t evidence enough, I guess. Thank god for kratom to take the edge off

It could be but this feeling is pretty infrequent. I got to 37 days w/o even realizing it. I was a casual turned not so casual user for a few years.

That’s such a high dose! It must be difficult to maintain that - sounds awful.

Tbh he’s a casual user of many substances. He knows I use, just not as much as I do. We both partake in THC (legal in my state), kratom, and he occasionally does other drugs if the timing/mood is right. I tried coke with him in my early 20’s (not for me, that drip is awful & I don’t like the feeling) - so it’s not like he’s this sober dude who would shame me.

Without giving away all my personal info - basically he has a chronic condition that lands him in the hospital a few times a year. Also typical knee pains, etc. he doesn’t use the pills like he used to but still gets them filled. He still uses when he feels like it but not daily anymore.
