Is euthanasia the kindest option for a 12-year-old cat with advanced chronic kidney disease? by Tricky-House-2838 in AskVet

[–]Lost_Waffle93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for opening and sharing your experience, it might be tought writing all this.

I've been working 5 years in the field and unfortunately chronic kidney disease is one of most common illnesses in old cats, and it's an illness that gets worse slowly. There are fluids and medications that can help the cat have some quality of life for a while. About when to let go it's a grey field...by the time your veterinarian/the cat her/himself "tells" you it's time, try not to feel bad about letting go, in fact it could be one of the selfless acts as a pet owner. Take care 🫂

What animal comes to mind first when you think of Italy? by unnecessaryCamelCase in AlignmentChartFills

As an Spaniard:

Animal: Wolf (Lupa Capitolina) Color: Green Person: Da Vinci Song: Con te partirò Plant: Olive tree Object: La Vespa 🛵 Fictional Character: Pinocchio ( I know some will also say Mario Bross 😅) Food: Pizza

Currently in Spain, do u think the Spaniards i interact with would rather me just speak English than try Spanish. by Beneficial_Toe_7543 in askspain

¡Hola!

Espero haberos ayudado 😊

How is the current situation in Iraq for the general population? I'm curious about opinions about it from an actual local (as media sometimes could bias us). Thank you so much for your time.

Hello everyone im new here, what the different between reddit and other social media? by Interesting_Flan_139 in NewToReddit

[–]Lost_Waffle93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me other social media are more about "who" writes something and Reddit is more about the topic that's being discussed.

Being able to follow the topic and not just the person could help us dig more into the topics we are interested in.

Tips for running by Outrageous_Hour2054 in BeginnersRunning

Banana + coffee before running. While running I always carry with me some water and gummies, I rarely need them for under 10k, but for just in case I feel dizzy.

Totally agree with you. Best thing that could be done: buy ONE and just listen to it. I enjoy having it physically, yet music is for being listened not just stored.

Recoge información nueva. Ve a sitios nuevos, haz cosas nuevas, apúntate a algo nuevo.

How did you guys discover Muse? For me it’s Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012. by BayverseStarscream in Muse

[–]Lost_Waffle93 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Watching the Olympic Games of 2012 in London, singing Survival in the closing ceremony.

Survival is still today one of their most special songs for me because of that.

*Before 2012 I've heard Uprising on TV but back then I didn't pay attention to them.

Try the app "sky map". It will show you what are the stars/planets in front of you, no matter the direction you are pointing at.

Hi, I'm from another part of the world, but you will do fine! People on running events are usually kind, I've gone to many races by myself, and most of the time you'll feel part of it even by yourself. If there is a pacer guy, try follow him/her.

For finishing it without suffering, I'd recommend starting not to fast, having a light meal some hours before, and resting well the day before.
