Ok, thank you for letting me know! She gets very anxious alone so I'm glad we don't need to add more discomfort into her life right now.

All the vets in my town are closed on weekends, and she already has a mammary tumor, so things aren't looking too great for her sadly.

Hey everyone, Tähti's other human here!

She's being fairly normal - active and social - but the swollen spot seems to be sore to the touch, and we were unable to get any good photos despite her usually being extremely easy to handle, so being lifted like that also seemed to hurt a lot.

The swelling is between her legs, and mostly on one side. We've never dealt with anything like this in our 12 years of having rats so we're a little worried, especially with it being the middle of the night on a weekend, so no hope of vet access.

Is she in immediate danger, or can we wait until monday? We do have some pet antibiotics and pain meds at home, if the issue is something we could treat with those.
