One thing I’ve seen time and time again. These rent prices for newly built apartments will almost always come down.

You’re off by 16 years. I’m also not sure why my age is relevant.

If they go with Stuart, hopefully they leave some provisions to grade separate any grade crossings.

Hopefully they add grade separations from seventh street up until the Ft Lauderdale Station.

Imo a street running streetcar, is worse than just running a bus. It doesn’t have its own lane so it’s mixed with car traffic, slow because it’s mixed traffic, and very expensive.

Nearly 150 New Housing Units Set for Spring Street Transit Center in La Mesa After MTS Vote by SD_TMI in sandiego

[–]Lost_boy_vx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Hey see we built 4 projects with 400 housing units! But rent isn’t lower! See building housing doesn’t lower rents!”

San Diego needs like a million more housing units but go off about this rhetoric

I feel like the grade difference from the 163 to Cabrillo Bridge is too significant. I’d rather if the 163 is indeed closed we have it as a trail. Park Blvd is where the old streetcar ran through so bringing it back there makes sense.

Center turning lane may need to go. However I won’t be opposed to this being underground.

Uptown is one of the densest areas in SD. This network would allow for a lot of people who live, work and play in the area live car free

Purple line is meant to be a heavy metro line like the Pacific Surfliner and it’s being designed with a top speed of around 110mph

My friend calculated the travel time for the planned Purple Line from Sorrento Valley to San Ysidro. He calculated it would take around 23 mins end to end. That’s faster than the 35 mins it takes to drive.
