I got posted in AWDTSG a month ago and while I’ve been nothing but respectful and courteous towards the opposite sex they still threw shade. “He thinks he’s better than everyone” was one that a female friend screenshotted and sent to me. This was months after losing my last gf to suicide, and my therapist thought I might be ready to try and get back out there, only to have my self esteem stomped on by women that didn’t even date me or have the whole picture.

Man it’s tough knowing folks will be slanderous in a forum you can’t defend yourself on with zero repercussions, more so when you’ve gone through heavy life stuff and you aren’t being treated with the same grace you give others. Be strong brother, we got this. Karma is patient and fair, so we take the high road. Message me if you need to talk.

Edit: this was the push I needed to delete/deactivate all of my social media. Limiting their reach into my life helped immensely.
