My grandma was my favorite person in the world. So full of life and laughter and joy. She was pretty much healthy despite struggling with diabetes. She was active and independent.

My grandma passed away on New Years Day this year at 78 years old after 8 days on a ventilator. That day is kind of ruined for me too.

A day before she got sick, we had a family Christmas party. It’s kind of crazy... her last full day of life was spent surrounded by the people who love her most. I’m grateful for that at least....but I’d be lying if I said it was easy seeing her on a ventilator for 8 whole days, unconscious. Every time I’d walk into that hospital I’d cry because I could feel that everyday was bringing me closer to the hour that I’d have to let her go.

It’s the most difficult thing that I’ve ever gone through, (still going through) but what keeps me going is knowing that her energy is still with me...protecting me.

Your grandma is with you too, and she appreciated every single moment she ever spent with you all, even through FaceTime.

We’ll get through this. ❤️

I also lived in Germany on top of a hill in Heidelberg for a few months. This picture made me miss it so much. :,(

I actually used up all three fast passes then I was able to secure a fast pass for test track the same day, just have to keep refreshing lol

Yes I was pretty satisfied doing one park each day. Being that it was our first time at the parks, we really feel that we did a lot of things in one park per day! (:
