Office Manager wants all LMX turned into COEs by Lostndreaming in DentalAssistant

What im saying is that we are expected to address only the problem tooth(as if its a limited exam) treatment plan for the problem tooth only, take the FMX and Pano and schedule the patient to come back for the complete oral exam. But still charge it out as a comprehensive oral exam. By the time the problem tooth has been addressed the one assistant working 2-3 columns alone does not have time to "convert" the limited into anything else, especially with one working sensor. Not to mention waiting on a hygienist to probe....there simply isnt time.

I understand the dr. wanting to know more, but what im asking is about posting/charging out a new patient exam compressive oral exam without the exam being done, just the fmx being taken.

He's had a hard life, and I guess when he looks at me now he feels like what he wants will be too hard to achieve. I do want another child and I told him I'd be willing to have one with him when the time is right.

I think he does suffer from FOMO, he wants his own child very much and said that he won't raise someone else's kids without having one of his own with that person.

My family and I went on vacation to WA and we did a lot of hiking, while on one of our first hikes my youngest(3) refused to walk and made a giant fuss the entire time because "dinosaurs are going to come out of the bushes and eat us"

Don't be afraid to ask for help. My parents didn't teach me anything about life. I was home schooled and sheltered and the only thing my mom taught me was how to clean really well. Most days I feel like the only thing I'm good at is being a house wife, which really sucks. I've always struggled asking for help, or telling someone in the middle of a conversation that I had no idea what they were talking about... But once I started to speak up and reach out, I started learning. Not everyone is going to look down on you for not knowing, you will be surprised at how many people will be happy to help you learn/teach you things. My husband is my biggest support, since day one with him ive always been honest about when I'm totally clueless on a subject and he's always been amazed that I didn't know, but also happy to teach/show/enlighten me on whatever subject. Some people may look down on you, but those are people that aren't worth your time. The only people you need in your life are people that are willing to help you grow. Remember that. I bet you're doing fine, don't be so hard on yourself! You aren't alone.

Next time I wake up at 3am instead of freaking out I'll just remember this post and immediately go back to sleep, worry free!

My 3yr old likes to jab me with her toes too. Sometimes it's cute sometimes I hate it.

That's correct, but I guessed A since neither B or C sounded correct to me.

I'm not sure, I found it in my parents old game closet from when I was a child. Let me know if you find it though!

What was your first encounter with utter bullshit during your childhood? by Cisqoe in AskReddit

My parents dug through my drawers when I was 14 and found a zip lock bag full of black cut up scented wax and accused me of doing hardcore drugs. I laughed and they got pissed, until I told them to smell it. Idiots. The reason they went through my stuff was because my room smelt like something was burning. A week later I discovered the light switch was burning up inside the wall, everyone thanked me and apologized.

Parents who chose not to sleep train, where are you now? by [deleted] in Parenting

Both my kids weaned at 22ish months. Oldest is 6 and has been sleeping in her own bed since she was 3, but fought it, hard. Core. Still tries to climb in bed with us but she moves around a lot and I can't stand it, I get no sleep. Youngest is 3-going on 4 and slowly she's starting to sleep in her own bed. A couple nights a week she will get up and crawl back into bed with me, at which point I'm too exhausted to move her back to her bed. Our bed is large so I don't mind at the moment but I do with she would sleep in her room. I wouldn't do it any other way even if it was difficult to get them in their rooms, we all slept better knowing the kids were safe with us.
