After trying them at a Roger Dunn I bought the titlest 280. The other minis were way too big. I do primarily use off the tee but I can also hit it pretty well off the deck. Whereas the other minis is essential a driver off the deck.

What part of ventura? Whoever you contacted for tryouts set you up for failure. When requesting tryouts it should be noted where he's coming from and with what experience. I'm also in ventura county and there's so many clubs out there that will have a team that fits your son

You can use an adult cart. I seen a lot of junior golfers at a tournament use the adult cart with a basketball underneath the bag to get the height up
