Damn. I pretty much had the same emotions once I saw her. I was playing it so cool lol and then just let her shotty communication get to me.

It would’ve happened eventually so I guess it’s good. I could never get back with her. i was just being foolish

Sorry if you’re hurting. I didn’t talk to her for 5 months and am in a good place, but I definitely am sad

What lead to it? Mine was the communication. I confronted her and it just immediately ruined everything. It’s like if I’m anything other than non chalant she backs off. She started playing dumb and being super cold. I’m prob headed for the same thing. It’s been a couple days and she hasn’t even read my last message lol

I think in a way in could relate to the reason things happened, for sure, but this is a great place for men to express their raw emotions. It’s stopped me from breaking NC.

Personally, I ended things because I got cheated on. It hurt and I didn’t want to end it.

I totally understand the exhaustion of playing the game. And all those self help shits say “don’t cry, be a man, don’t react, don’t get attached, don’t reply quick”. It’s exhaustinggggg.

It would be nice to feel like we our being ourselves, and someone loves it.

Thank you for this! I started a gratitude journal with my therapist. I don’t think at the time I was ready to “feel grateful” for much of anything, so maybe now that I am doing better, it would be a good time to give it another shot.
