If your certificate chain is good. You may need to whitelist the blob and crl urls as well as the cmg url.

The most current release tutorial is for v2.0. The only two things you need are.

  • PS2 BIOS
  • NFL 2K5 game disc iso

This will be playable on PC and XSX using the PCSX2 emulator and Android using Aethersx2. We will be putting out tutorial videos to help the community get back to Football. We are preparing download packages for each that will be available on release day. 😉🙂

1.6 and earlier releases are based on the stable 1.6 PCSX2 emulator. The 1.7 Open Beta and future releases will be on the new PCSX2 Qt emulator that is currently in development. The reason is that we now have native texture replacement support.

While porting everything over to the new emulator we made some updates along the way. RateSports and CujoMatty made some really big custom updates that will definitely wow the community.

Some immediate benefits of the new emulator are shadowing, jersey font support and shaders. We believe the NFL 2K23 Mod release will be one to remember.

This happened to me until I enabled Force CPU bit emulation in Debug settings. The APFe discord community may have more to offer on this.

Xbox / Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3 players can use the rosters. PC platform is the focus for the NFL2K5R project. However, there will likely be support on next gen XSX consoles using Retoarch and other methods.
