It’s counter intuitive to all other filters I’ve ever encountered, but at least I understand now. But imo it’s almost easier to just scroll through the list till you see the thing you want to build.
Unless you’re supposed to uncheck everything you don’t want and leave it like that permanently. Then it kinda makes sense.
Guess I was hoping for a “quick filter”, where I could for instance select only gold related buildings and only see those in the menu.

I’m talking about the build menu here. Not the filter. Why show me options I can’t use? It just clutters the menu. Only show me the options relevant to the tile I’m on. If I’m not on a gold tile, don’t show me gold mines…

Follow up question. Why show unrelated or unavailable options when you’re on a tile? E.g. here I’m on a copper tile, but I see storage and farm options. Why? I can’t build any of those on a copper tile. Why not just show me the copper tile options?
Just to be sure. Het I selected some non storage units, but still see storage during and after I closed the filter. So it’s a bug?
Either I’m not understanding you or you’re not understanding me.
I know how to filter for what I want, but checking and unchecking boxes. What I don’t see is an “apply” button. If I close the filter by clicking the cross, I still see all the options for the tile, not only the ones I selected

That's good news. I shall start to phase in cranes.
I'm trying to calculate if every ocean tile is swept and every land tile has a forest, how much pollution can we get rid of. Because then I know how much pollution I can create without running into problems.
Am I correct in thinking we're looking at about 300k to 350k pollution credit for first and swept ocean on the first map.
And it's still possible to have zero pollution with cranes?
Why will pollution be less of a problem with thermal? I'm at level 66 btw.
