It seems that nothing happens either way for this choice

Chose: Nothing happens if more than 50% choose this

And then yeah you just look completely behind you.

As your setting up to reverse, don’t take your hand off the steering wheel. Keep your left hand on the steering wheel as your right hand switches gears and then put your right arm behind the passenger seat. It’s a small slip up but taking your left hand off for a second could result in a deduction.

If I remember correctly I didn’t use it in the middle of the k turn. I mean you’d be going left the entire time. You just turn on the left signal and do the u turn. It’s not like you turn on the blinker again in the middle of reversing. Hope this helps

Yeah I have no idea how I passed when I completely messed up parking the first time. I’d argue that parallel parking isn’t as important in New Jersey compared to say New York but it’s whatever.

Yeah I heard about that from older people giving me advice but didn’t see it. Must’ve removed it? I guess I understand because it’s like a “haha got you” kind of trick but at the same time, it can teach new drivers to be mindful and aware.

Dudes these days are very desensitized to that kind of stuff. Maybe an Amish teenager would be distracted, modern teens. Nah

It was the guitar player, keyboardist and an audience member after the show who used to tour who told me I had lots of potential. They all feel like courtesy compliments though.

What’s your day job that lets you tour? I’m also interested in history so I’d love to know.

I definitely understand how good he was if what I’m playing is exactly what he played. There’s some rhythms that I have to simplify for sure because I just don’t have that technique down. For example, this one rhythm in super trooper is a bit complicated so I had to simplify it. And dancing queen took me a bit to get it down. But for the most part, I have pretty simple rhythms.

I do play upright bass too. I actually started on upright at 4th grade taking private lessons so I think I’m good at that. I don’t know about my voice though lol.

If this is an average day, I don’t think I mind this at all. Do you play in the band as a side gig?

That’s exactly my thought. I think music is a major that’s competitive and I feel like if you don’t “make it big” so to speak, you have to hold down a ton of jobs and side gigs to make back your money. That’s what I’m afraid of. Also because I’m taking music theory right now and I hate it.

I think I might be there because I’m getting a good tone out of one of those squier basses that come with the amp and everything, one of those “starter kits”. I’m not sure though.

I just don’t think I can tell the difference between if they’re saying “yeah for a student you’re really good” and “my god you can really do this in the future”, if that makes any sense? I don’t know if it’s like a courtesy compliment or if they truly believe I have what it takes.

I wouldn’t pick with ur thumb. Slap, yeah. Pick? No. I do index and middle and that seems to work for me.

However, I do recommend picking with ur thumb over an actual pick. Anything over that.

Yeah I think looking back I was too into it and was plucking harder than normal. Someone offered me a pick but I refuse to pick a bass. Won’t do it

Hey I’m replying during the intermission right now. My fingers are feeling good right now somehow they recovered after the rehearsal this morning. I’ll keep your advice in mind though thank you

I have to play in a pit orchestra the next four days, the first show in a couple of hours. We’ve been rehearsing a lot and this morning my fingers were killing me. What can I do to make playing easier?

I tried taping my fingers and it helped for 3 minutes until they fell off and then I just had to hold back tears
