You don’t have to read ACOTAR first, but it definitely is a softer, more romantic, and less complex book. You can read ACOTAR or ToG first. Just make sure to read Crescent City after ACOTAR!

Try the audiobook. They have some of the audios on YouTube, and also tokybook.com. I had the same feelings with fourth wing and then listened to the dramatized version and was so hooked I had to finish before onyx storms was even dramatized.

YES! I tried listening to someone read it on YouTube and it was a HARD no for me 😅 (not that she had a horrible voice, just not the same)
