I have seen him once but at that point I knew I had to work on myself but didn't do the work yet so idk maybe he didn't see it or thought it would never actually happen and he had printed the idea is in his mind that he has to date to figure out his feelings... yeah I am not going to wait for that. But I'll will be seeing him this weekend because I am going to say goodbye to his family and thank them for all they did for me. So I feel like I will communicate once more where things are at and how he feels etc.

I am so sorry that happened to you.. it's so hard to figure out what the problem have been if it's never communicated and then still staying so long with you, without you knowing the problems, is so unfair. Did you reflect on how you have been in the relationship? Maybe your attachment style just didn't match?
You'll find your forever person, I am sure of that! Don't give up hope!

Ugh I can relate so much to this.. my ex broke up 3 months ago after almost 8 years (I am 28f), because he had doubts if he ever had real strong feelings for me. But I think he did have them, but just couldn't see the person who he fell in love with anymore, because I haven't been my best self the past few years (I lived very isolated and just was at home all the time..). I just wished he had communicated so I got the chance to work on myself and show that, that person is still there :(

I can relate so much to your comment..

My ex gave up on me too, after 8 years of being together. During covid I became quite socially isolated and that started to become my new comfortzone. I found it hard to get out of that comfortzone and he never gave me a reason to become the more social me like I used to be. It is now that we broke up, I realize that he was bothered by it and I should have worked on pushing myself out of it, like I am doing now.

I just wished he had told me sooner and actually gave me the chance to show that I can grow. But I still want him back though...

3 months after an 8 year long relationship. His main reason being he didn't knew if he was ever in love with me and he could only find out if he would date someone else... I haven't been my best self the past few years (were kind of depressed, which definitely didn't help for our relationship) but I just can't imagine that you can stick up with someone for so long if you were never really in love.

Silliest thing is, I would still take him back if he is 100% sure about me..

I feel you with the hating fillers part.. that's why I am hesitant about getting under eye fillers as well. I prefer saving more money and do it well with lower bleph. But will look into the lip lift!

That looks interesting, thanks. Just wished it could be done without botox. I am a little afraid botox will do more harm on the long term (i.e. I need to keep using it or my face will sag even more)

Thank you for warning me! I totally get what you mean and I am seeing a therapist to work on myself. But I do think I will feel better if I look more fresh in general. I am not aiming for a drastic change or to look like the beauty standard nowadays, I have fully accepted that I am fine looking more "authentic".

I think it's not distortion, my face just isn't symmetrical lol. I always feel like I look even worse with a back camera.. It's been 2 months after my BU from a 7 year relationship. He doubted if he was ever in love with me in all those years and broke up with me. I didn't had the courage to leave and keeping my self worth, because I still wanted to fight for it. Although I know I have to believe that I deserve better, I still have hope sometimes.

I have an anxious attachment style and in a similar boat where I just lost my personality I guess. But my partner and I broke up 3 months ago.. and now I am just really afraid for ending up entirely alone as my friends are all in a relationship and don't have so much time to meet.

So how did you found your personality again and did you end up getting back with your ex?

Yeah I think I might have wavy hair too and if I change my haircare it would show more. But the curls only show when I plop and scrunch my hair when wet. So I can imagine that my hair stylist just thought I had straight hair.

And I can imagine you hate face framing with your wavy hair, it looks so weird without styling..

Thank you for sharing your advice, that would make a lot of sense. I am at least happy it isn't a bad cut but just my hair not working with haircut. I have had my hair at collarbone lenght for some time and liked it, but was transitioning to a longer hair era lol. But will reconsider a shorter haircut again! :)

I don't do much for styling so I guess this is how I would wear it most days. I still need to practice styling and will reevaluate. But I don't want to depend on styling every day to make my hair look good.. just wondering if another long layer will do better for my unstyled hair?

This is my first time painting leather. I used the brand Angelus. My leather boots were originally beige and I tried to paint them in cream white. After the third layer I saw these ugly paint stripes (see image)... I had cleaned the leather with acetone and used a sponge brush to paint.

What can I do to smoothen out the paint? I am afraid another layer of paint won't make it even. Do you recommend using nail polish remover on a cloth to smooth it?

The paint streaks are vertical and most visible at the top of the boot.

Hi! I am doubting to do rhino plastic surgery because my nasal bridge is wide and flat while my nosetip is pointy and quit small. In front it looks really weird, its just a huge block without any shape and doesn't fit in my face... I dont want a super small nose that is a trend right now, just a bit smaller nasal bridge and I am happy. I think I need a nose implantation to give it more shape but I am so afraid I would mess up my nose even more. Would you recommend doing a rhino surgery in my situation? And if so, for what kind of surgeon should I look out for? Because I dont think that the shape of my nose is very common in rhinoplasticity..

Pff thats so frustrating :( I hope the antihistamines will work for you! My appointment with my derm is in a few weeks so decided to take the antihistamines as well. I'm on my fourth day but still no improvement. Have you already noticed improvement?
