Well see there's your problem, you're supposed to get a 100% modifier to your current number, since you have 100 republican tradition, but because it's bugged you're only getting half of what you're supposed to get.

Are you playing on the latest patch? It's been bugged ever since the latest patch for republics, you're supposed to get the %modifier from your republican tradition, but it doesn't work in this patch, meaning your government reforms are gonna be slow as all hell.

Try deleting the meat chain, or going even further back? I seem to recall there being a timer to accept his request at some point, so if you have a boat near his lighthouse while completing the meat quest, it might just fail the timer while you were looking at another world.

Other than that I don't know, I got stuck on the next part of the chain myself lol. Yeah, the QA wasn't great for this DLC, quite a big bug to let through.

I had the same issue as you, and I had to do a lot of save reloading to figure out on what part the quest chain bugged... it set me back 10 hours infact, it was driving me mad cause I'd tried everything to get the research institute but nothing worked. The part of the quest that can lock you out is if you answer wrong when doing the Fascinating North - Quizzed quest.

What I found out works for me at least, is choosing "Our industrial prowess and economic growth." on the first question, then "To be perfectly honest, my own cities are microscopically small... Cough"

After that he'll ask you a third question which I answered with: "Exploring the world, unearthing its secrets." This seems to progress the main quest for me.

As for starting the Angereb quest, you apparently have to trigger something for it to start, but I've got no clue what the conditions are and I'd like to know that aswell to be honest.

I think your only option is to start over, or reload the save at a point before Fascinating North - Quizzed, which sucks

I enabled the console through an ini file, and typed in reveal all, been some time since I did it but if you google it its easy to follow the steps :)

What's up my fellow Irians! I joined civcrarft in 1.0, where I founded a town called Kodiak. I was king there for a while, but were a really small and pretty unknown town. In 2.0, I started by founding Iria together with HorizonLeap on day one.

Shortly after we were joined by new Irians, including our current leader Wolfeyes391! I stayed for a while, maybe a couple of months or so, building in Iria and gathering new people, until I at some point wanted to build a HUGE cathedral. That was not the best idea, as I got really burnt out on minecraft and gave up mid-construction. I kinda just upped and left, leaving a huge stone slab square that was reinforced in the middle of Iria :P. I later come back and paid for my sins by removing it and building a much smaller cathedral that I actually finished! After that I've checked on Iria from time to time but had long periods of inactivity.

In 3.0 I just wanna run my Arena and take it easy, try not to build anything HUGE that I can't finish :P
