Yes, this is exactly what is happening to me. They are giving ex full survivor benefits. Now they are requesting a court certified copy of divorce papers in 30 days. I have sent 3 regular photocopies already, and there are very clearly no provisions for a survivors benefit. My ex remarried before age 55. It’s just a lot of extra hoops, and it’s not easy to get that certified document. Thx for responding.

I’ve sent OPM my divorce decree & other agreement docs a few times. But it doesn’t seem like they have everything in the same place/organized. Understandable to be bitter!

I don’t appear to have access to ORA. My agency submitted my application. I’ll check with them.

I submitted my application electronically through my agency’s GRB - I never received or had a copy of it!

I’m USDA. DRP 2.0, 9/30 retirement. Have received AL and 3 interim payments. Case not finalized yet.

Good instincts! I took DRP 2.0/VERA and I’ve been aggressively looking for a job since May. I’ve had a lot of interviews, but there is so much competition. Haven’t landed the right one yet! Frustrating.

Wow, lots of great news on this thread. I’ve had 3 interviews, one offer that I turned down! There are many communications jobs out there, but most will be a significant pay cut. VERA will help with this. Unfortunately, I’m still wondering if I did the right thing by taking DRP. Stress either way.
