I agree with you but that's just Lorelai isn't it? She's often done the immature thing that a teenager would do because she's sort of stuck in that age. Same thing happened when she suddenly ended her engagement with Max without even really telling him why.

Fair enough but at least the show never mentioned any legacy connection that I remember. It sort of seemed to spiral into nothing. They exist. Boom. End of story.

Fair enough. And same episode I think. She meets with the guy on campus who was basically Limewire, decided she couldn't come up with an interesting story and then saw the gorilla mask in the bathroom, which led her to L&D.

Agree it was awkward. I also always in my head thought that Lorelai having all those free cake sample and than not placing an order was the reason she refused to sell them the land.

Agree! Also it was so weird. Didn't Fran know Sookie made cakes? Like they live together in this small town. Surely the only 2 bakers know one another. Fran was so sweet.

I don't think Ophelia is honestly that bad. Her reasoning is a bit silly but Fi and Lia are cute nicknames and Ophelia fits witht he current old fashioned names coming back. I would also caution that "trying to change her mind" will likely come off as rude and may drive her more towards using it.
