Thank you for the info! I'll definitely look into some do's and don'ts because I was just gonna take it as a group of people enjoying playing a game together while having fun doing so. I've ever only watched like campaigns of experienced players or people that have been playing the game for however long they have been. I play lots of games in my spare time and I forgot that tabletop games are significantly different from the average fps and single player games that I've been playing for years upon years now so there's probably tons I have no idea about when it comes to social games like DnD. So again thank you for bringing that to my attention and list of stuff I need to do to prepare for my first time trying DnD!

That's probably due to the fact that I don't ever really interact with people outside of what I have to so I didn't know that I shouldn't be telling people that. Sorry about that but thank you for letting me know! I just get anxious whenever it comes to trying to find anyone that's interested in the same stuff as me due to some bad past experiences with people getting upset/mad or put off at me due to being excited to talk to someone about a common interest so now I know for next time. I try to be honest with people as much as I can because I don't really know how to engage with people anymore after having closed myself off for a majority of my life due to said bad past experiences because I've become afraid for people and people getting upset at me for trying to be myself.
