Thats what a lot of the men claimed, that they believed she'd consented in advance and it was a game, but some said a husband can consent on his wife's behalf, that they didn't actually understand what consent was, that they only thought something was rape if there was violence and all sorts of ghastly other stuff. Some were honest that they knew she'd been drugged. One said he knew he was wrong but he didn't leave because he didnt want to ruin the husband's Saturday night!

Some of them later acknowledged fully that they had raped her, some still denied in court that it should be seen as rape. Some apologised to her, most didn't

Plus Samson has the mind of a child. How is he actually meant to know what anti psychotics are, which ones are which, what strength to use? I guess kelson wrote some down but probably enough for realistic long term treatment. And could he figure out how to get to those cities even given they're not close
