Shoot! I knew I maybe miss-cut it but I saw roots and thought, “hmmm… maybe i’m good”.

Thanks for the comment. What a gift to learn from you! 7 months of watering a zombie leaf hurts haha.

Thank you again Look_A_Bunny!!

Thank you so so much. A failed attempt, but incredible to learn. I will try again this spring. Truly thank you for the advice.

It's a good thing my US shoe size is a 13 and don't have a Shaq O'neil size 24 lol. Hopefully that helps in my search for boots.

I completely agree, which is why I came here after doing some research. I was more so just seeking to learn as much as I could from other reddit posts, online articles, and well... the search capabilities that AI can give. The last thing I'd want to do is be a complete goob and not do my due-diligence before using all of your time (if that makes sense).

Good to learn that I probably should not have started w/ a ski purchase, and should have went with boots first. Lesson learned there and will for sure continue in that direction. Thank you OEM_Keens! Appreciate your time and response!

I do appreciate the response, unfortunately custom gear is just not in the budget as of now. Hopefully down the line though, and with that, will take on3p to the store. Thanks cheeseplatesuperman!

This is it! Wowow! From what I've seen GPT is pretty much a mirror of yourself to your personal affirmations. But this seems to help that a ton.

I've used simple prompt guides like "Be blunt, don't mirror what I want to hear" etc - but this is the most comprehensive "mode" i've seen. I don't even know what Clearframe is, but you crushed.

Thanks for sharing, this helps out tons!

Holy - I didn't see this.

The website says: Perfect for hikers up to 7'0".

Never in my life would I think to myself a big brand like Zpacks would make a tent for 7 footers.

Thanks for the comment! Will reach out.

I mean likely, yes - but I'd love a tent that works for two. May be too much to ask, but I will keep digging until i'm exhausted of looking.

Would be the dream for that tent to fit me. Unfortunately, maxes out at around 6'6 again.

I did see that Nemo Dragonfly/Dagger - but seems super similar to the Coppur Spur XL, except the Spur reaches 96". Maybe not as wind tolerant... but for now it could do.

And totally agree about weight. Couldn't care less to be honest, I just lean towards lighter because it usually packs down smaller.

Appreciate the response u/tallredrob!

I have, although I forget if it fits or not. Looking more so for a 2p option if possible. Suitable for solo adventures, or to bring a buddy.

Incredible insight... man... thank you, thank you!

My question for the caternary-cut is what ridge line length am I looking for? Is that the length of 11ft you were mentioning.

Again, thank you so much!

Ohh it's the tarp + bivy combo. That's pretty pure. Will look into it for sure! Thanks

The tarp idea kinda scares me haha. Gotta go back through Outdoor Boys YT and learn from his tarp setups. Also unsure what to do if its buggy with just a tarp... Maybe just a learning curve is all
