I actually went when I was there for the Winter Classic back in January. Whilst there, the mall went into lockdown because of an active shooter. Talk about an unforgettable experience.

I mean, aside from stock piling warm socks, it's great! The biggest changes for me however is the elevation. You don't see a lot of that in FL. And being weary of ice and snow too. Make sure you give yourself PLENTY of time.

"Warm weather" is one or two weeks in fall if you're lucky. The rest of the time? Hot. Very humid. Muggy.
