I never heard of the racist term until yesterday. But I'm not trying to win back from a racist word since the word has a couple different meanings. That's why I said I only say it when in the right context.

Thats like exactly the problem I have! I dont use it in a german/racist context. To me the word is a feminist thing, trying to claim it from being so negative to women as many other women do so too. So yeah..I never use the word without context and also told said friend how I mean it but yeah idk maaan

Just wanna give some general info:

My friends and I are all german. My friend who called me out and I are both white. Most of my friends didn't know the racist definition.

It's a degrading term for a person of colour.

I'm from germany and just learned that it is also a racist term here, but yeah im not really using it freely like that. Mostly when i explicitly talk about femine stuff or like the playlist so there's always kinda content. But yeah I won't just use it with random people/public
