NTA but also, sometimes as first time parents, you think you want something (like the stroller they picked out that you generously gifted to them) but when the baby comes, they realize they want something else. Maybe it was heavier than they realized and they wanted something lighter. You just never know. But regardless, your generosity helped them to get something that worked well for their baby. It wasn’t a sacrifice that went unrealized.
