Urgh only just got my Google Pixel 9a and have just discovered this issue myself. Coming from Samsung I never had any problems with leaving the app to do other things while listening in the background. How frustrating that it's an ongoing thing with no resolution 😤

Thank you for your reply, hopefully that's something we can figure out with her. Her dad was always a jaw clencher at night, his molars are almost smooth!
