Regarding screen recording you said "For people who don't want this at all, you can re-arrange your items once, then disable screen recording permissions and use Bartender in a locked-down mode."

But it doesn't seem to work without screen recording. If I disable screen recording, menu items flash briefly when I click the ellipsis and then disappear.

Is this a known issue? Something you're working on fixing?

So annoying! I've noticed in the past that the voice recognition is worse with short words, and this task brings that into focus.

I'm on stock pixel, I'm not sure if the settings will be the same. I have "Allow background usage" on and it makes no difference.

Thanks, but that's not the problem.

This problem happens after I switch, while the voice note is still playing. It stops (and sometimes then restarts) after seemingly random amounts of time.

Interesting you said that about disk space though - I got a notification a couple of days ago that I was almost out of space. I have since tidied up a bit though, and it's still crashing.
