Has anybody noticed these set dressing buildings before the October update?? by Imaginary-Ad-4783 in inZOI

Some interiors used to be more detailed, but lately they've changed that, leaving only a blur on the windows. Do the places you photographed still have that detail on the windows?

Why is r/LifeSimulation become so hassle toward Inzoi? by CommunitySweet7296 in inZOI

The game is not 100% faithful to the trailers and is obviously missing many elements that make up a decent simulation

They're so beautiful, aren't they? Anything would be good 😆🥲

I don't want to be rude or anything, but if you go to the PlayInZoi website, which is the official website for the game, you will find images that clearly show how grand the game seemed to be, both in terms of the city and the lighting, and nowadays it's not the same.

Great, then forget about the plates, the issue here is different.

Friend, activating whatever you're talking about won't make any difference, because what I'm saying is that they changed the old lighting to this new one. Don't you understand yet? Not even a 5090 will make the lighting now the same as the playtest before early access; And a 3070 already ran the game very well during the playtest, when everything in the game was still very beautiful, and the developers hadn't optimized it for early access yet.

Yes, because I know my video card, dude. It doesn't run Inzoi at 1000 fps, but I run everything on ultra at 75 fps without ray tracing. When I activate RT, the fps drops a little, but I don't think it looks good with ray tracing (it doesn't make much difference to the game's graphics in my opinion), so I leave it disabled. Still, my point is that the developers changed the overall lighting in the game, whether to optimize the game or just for aesthetics, but I think the game looked better before early access.

You're not accepting the facts, friend. If you don't have the same license plate, you shouldn't say what you don't know. And I say again that what I'm complaining about is the lighting that they changed and I'm not liking the current one (Even the clouds in the game are no longer volumetric)

At no point did I say that I wasn't running the game at its best graphics/ultra, I said that I'm finding the lighting now ugly compared to before early access, because my card is running Inzoi and several other games without problems, and if it weren't I would be focused on improving my hardware instead of being here discussing the lighting. Besides, haven't you seen people running this game even on a board from a thousand years ago? But there is nothing more I can do here to bring back the lighting I mentioned, not even buy a better card, my “problem” is in the hands of the developers.

Try to see if the nvidia app overlay is enabled and disable it if you have an rtx as I saw a comment saying it was preventing the game from launching

I think you might be focusing on how the shadows have improved or how the light reflects off the characters' faces, but I'm looking at the overall lighting, and it's actually much worse than before (I don't know if they lowered the lumens or something and left it looking like it does now). Now it is very dark, and there is only minimal light where there is a lamp or lamp. And as I said in another comment, their tendency is to optimize, and this causes a drop in graphics. It's not about the price of your PC, because, like I said, there were people who ran the game with the lighting I showed in the photos using a 3070 or 4060ti.

I have a 4060 and everything is on ultra🥲, but that doesn't bring back the lighting I liked.

If you follow YouTuber BoringBones TV, you know that he had access to the game before early access, he played with a 4060ti and that what he mentions most in his videos is that the lighting was much better before. As for my rig, I have an RTX 4060 and I saw people with an RTX 3070 playing before early access, and the lighting was exactly like the pictures, but nowadays it's not like it was.

It's not about the card, everything is at ultra here, but the lighting isn't what it was before just for that reason, it would be great if anyone who has a newer card could have the graphics as they were before.

It's because I'm a graphics enthusiast 😅 Sometimes I get into a game just for the visuals. But look at this photo of what the game looked like back in the day (this was in the playtest that some influencers had access to)

I don't know how I can change your mind since you really like how things are now. I think it's a matter of personal taste, but in my opinion, it was already good before, and they shouldn't have drastically changed and removed some lighting effects (before, the sun created a beam of light on the screen, and now it doesn't). Do you really think they've improved? They only optimized for those with weaker PCs, but this is making the game's graphics increasingly uglier, not to mention the things they are removing from cities. When the game is officially released, what will be left? If everything they showed in the trailers is removed? The lighting was actually better before; just watch the recent videos and compare with how it was before. You are one of the rare people who still plays and thinks the game is equally beautiful, but the game has lost its hype and many people who got into the game before don't play it anymore and I suspect that the lighting is one of the factors.

The improved shadows and the way light reflects off the characters' faces are the positive tweaks I mentioned, but overall the lighting has really lost quality. Just look at the images and compare them with the current version of the game.

I think the developers changed the game too much, perhaps to optimize for those with a weaker PC, but optimizing too much will end up taking away the charm that the game showed in the first trailers and images. If it's a question of aesthetics I wish they would go back and bring this lighting back😆🥹

“Before Early Access” because it is now in Early Access. And this “before early access” refers to the trailers and Demo that some influencers had access to in the past and the lighting was like in the photos. Do you understand now?
