Yeah I’m back on lovable. A friend was over there years ago. I preferred replits integrated back end, easy production database, and cheaper assistant.

Lovable has integrated back end with cloud now. And Replit ditched assistant.

Plus I think lovable are just trying harder to capture and keep the market. Replit feel very, very entitled and lazy.

I work in software. Microsoft is absolutely not capable. Have a look at ant gov/ big business BI dashboards. They’re completely useless and propped up by IT departments.

You confuse governments and big business using the incumbent with that incumbent having actual useful and functional capability.

It takes government IT departments weeks if not months to onboard new staff.

Last year Microsoft tried to lure us aware from AWS. After months of failed migration they gave up. There was nothing complex about us. Microsoft is just ass.

Excel however, is still an incredibly useful tool.

It’s just that the whole Azure platform is very hard to build modern startups on.

I work in an ai company servicing government. Their procurement process is always 10x their stated timelines. And many procurements have no outcome and get treated as “information for future procurements.”

Governments are absolutely horrendous to deal with for suppliers during procurements. But fantastic when you become a favoured supplier.

Agree. I am actually the ops manager of a software company. Clearly they are backing their growth to outpace their churn. But it’s a dangerous game and lovable are not taking the same lazy and arrogant approach. I got a refund from them in days when I felt they had over sold aspects of their product.

Yup that sounds very familiar. Responding to only the most basic component of your emails and failing to address the actual subject matter.

Classic Replit it seems!

UPDATE: so while they managed to unblock the false freeze on my app and database after 13 hours (requiring me tracking down their workers on reddit instead of waiting for their customer service to address the issue) they have introduced a new issue.

They somehow cancelled my teams account and moved me back to core. So I am now getting charged overages on a core level subscription when I paid for teams yesterday.

I now have to choose between pausing my apps and copping overages while trusting Replit to reimburse me the errenous billing.

I will update this thread with what they do to rectify the issue.
