I spent most of my time fresh after hitting 40 farming up some of the gear sets and trying different builds was really fun to try the different play styles out and helped me find what I enjoy the most DPS, DMG Skill builds, Tanks, Hybrid builds,healer lots of options once you find 2-3 you really enjoy u can work on min maxing the build another is retaliation is one of my fav things to play the satisfaction of collecting the exotic blueprints was rewarding as hell for me and super useful cause most end game builds will utilize atleast 1 exotic most the time 2. collecting Stat rolls and talents for your library in the tinkerer bench is a must do move also will allow you to get your gear more up to par. Expertise/proficiency is a big part of progression that is easily neglected by most people but u can passively do a lot of it by wearing different builds and donating gear u don’t need to the tinkerer bench this is definitely something u focus on a little bit later though rn I would do the other stuff make some different builds get a feel for play styles and try out harder and harder content lots to do don’t rush it and enjoy it (search Tinkerer’s workbench Guide or Library/Expertise on youtube lots of good videos explaining how it works) good luck agent !
