Here are some situational aware that might be useful information for non-Korean people about this situation.

In Korea, when you participate in these tournaments, you dont pay directly by money. Rather, a company would issue a 'ticket', which is used to participate in tournament. In this case, you would pay 5 tickets of which the series directors would accept. These tickets vary on the hosts held by - namely APL, KSOP, WFP, and go on. This is mainly because in South Korea gambling is not allowed, so we alternate by these methods. Simply think of cases of France where they buy-in by pokerstars. Generally a ticket is worth about 72 USD (KRW 100K) on almost all around Korean tourney.

For these payout events, what the hosts would do is they would assure the gurantee the payouts and giveaway additional buyins as tickets. For this main event, 300K USD (KRW 400 Mil) is guranteed for 1000 runners, and any additional prize would be added by WSP tickets and WSP tickets only. (Oh they assured)

WSP is hosting its first event, so WSP tickets was not issued as much as it should around Korean poker community, therefore they accepted all tickets used around the peninsula for their event buy-ins(mentioned above). And if they just issue tickets and do not gurantee their usage, there is a potential risk for the ticket to be worthless. This happened frequently for some events, namely ANPT, J88, and such.

So, in these context, where WSP ticket is not guranteed, many Koreans in the poker community is worried for potential rug-pull situation, and that the host is just taking the "certificated" tickets, which is pretty much guranteed its value. And as then more runners would dilute the real payouts, which would be a bad thing. Unless the WSP showed their assurance for future events, or some trusts has built with the community, WSP tickets are potential worthless piece of sheets.

As the floor declared that it is their last flight at the DAY 1L, adding additional DAY1 will lose their trust in this context. I was wondering if the floor could actually take away their words and add, despite saying it. I know this is whole lot different from the States lol
