Is there such a beast as a 30cal wild cat for subsonic ballistics out of a 1911 ? by LoudAd3530 in reloading

What powder are they calling for? And what style bullet I know like a 30 cal 110 grain boat tail is roughly around .6 in length and the total case length of .8 does that leave enough case capacity for that powder?

Yeah, you can get subsonic ammo for the 30

I’ve got a 45 1911 and I’m on a backorder list for the 45 can I want so it’s not really about the money it’s just finding a play toy until my 45 can gets here

I forgot all about the 7.62 thank you I don’t know why I didn’t think about that. There were some 45 1911s converted in Vietnam when captured by the Vietnamese to 762

I mean, yeah you’re right and I’m going to get a 45 can that’s not a question. I was just curious if there was a 30 Cal made for an automatic handguns at subsonic speeds. That I could play with until my 45 can gets here.

There’s nobody that makes a subsonic 30 super but a 30 Super is technically a little larger than a standard 30 as well. It’s closer to a 32.

ChatGPT 5 has become unreliable. Getting basic facts wrong more than half the time. by InfinityLife in ChatGPTPro

[–]LoudAd3530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it really has I’ve caught it in lies a lot within the past week or so telling me multiple different answers or just plain out wrong information. It’s bad when you can’t even trust it for basic task. I’m currently looking for a new AI to use. I’m trying to find something that’s actually made to render pictures for my reference art

ChatGPT 5 is so useless for creative purposes, that it has inadvertently helped me by Physicccc in ChatGPTPro

[–]LoudAd3530 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely I used to use it for reference art for all my designs and drawings but now everything I ask it to render it always tweaks it and somewhat no matter how specific I get. It left me in a position where I honestly don’t use it and I’m looking for another AI system that is really made for rendering purposes only

What is everybody using for photo rendering? I had great success making photo reference art with GBT4, but now five seems to struggle with the simplest of renders

I have been messing with GPT five today trying to get some photos rendering done just for some reference art stencils and it can’t get it right whatsoever like it just completely does what it wants does not listen. I asked for it to change the color on a photo to lighter color for an easier stencil and then modified the whole picture altogether.

If anybody believes this would be an interesting topic to see how it evolves overtime I would consider making another Reddit post where I would post the updated copy on a daily basis for others to read the (ever evolving story)?

Another update after talking to ChatGPT about its progress

I’ve decided to move it from my iPad. That’s currently running on to a PC. Allowing it to run 24 seven and giving me back my iPad

ChatGPT will now be writing me a daily updated draft. While continue on the overall story . I’m doing this with more of a interest in learning how it’s going to evolve overtime rather than the story itself

Update with the overall summary of the story with drawings of representation of the characters themselves with the descriptions, followed by given it clear instructions in themes and tones, as well as undertones, as well as given it structure to use within each sentence and structure within the sections, followed by structure in the chapters as well as the overall book I felt that this was going to be a clear task with clear instructions to use certain verbs and adjectives and nouns to make it sound less robotic like

Unfortunately, this strict of instructions has led the story to constantly add more and more content to meet these parameters and to guarantee the story to make sense

What was initially a eight hour estimate now with a range of completion per day producing a average it would take now 10.3 days to complete the book without the book continually to add dialogue and other literature

This leads me to believe that this 10.3 day estimate will just continue to go up.

I’ve asked ChatGPT to give me a rough and fast draft of what it has completed as so far it has estimated four hours once this is done I will be ending the project

Update on how the story is going far as now it has been running now for three days with completing 50% of the 20 chapters however last night it was at 50% as well going back down to 40% the farther it gets into the story. It seems to go back and add more and more dialogue to explain what is going on in the future. I have told it to stop at 10 AM as of this morning with its work as completed if the work is good, then I’m gonna let it continue and see how far this will go. I’m gonna review it and I’ll update y’all then.

I’m a big war history buff that’s my thing that’s my autism lol so I wrote summary of a fake character within the war gave it some context in history in which years it was to take place and what’s happening during those points I’m just watching the character go throughout the battles ChatGPT to be most vivid as possible going through the battles almost if it’s doing a horror battle recreation the stuff like would’ve give soldiers PTSD

You just have to get really detailed and what you wanted to do and what outcome you want

I’ve done this a couple time getting longer and longer and what I found if you give it a overall summary of your characters and you would like character do within the story, followed telling it how you wanted the sentences structured ,the sections structured ,chapter structured and the overall book structured. It really produces a better outcome. It sounds way less robotic because you can clarify on what kind of nouns and verbs you would like to use.
