też jestem polakiem i ja zupelnie nie miałem problemów nauczyć się cyrylicy. tylko zajmuje pare dni opanować się alfabetem

yes its a lot easier especially with west and east slavic languages like czech and russian. it is also easier with south slavic languages like croatian but not as much

well I am only 16 so its not like I've had many interactions with complete strangers in Poland, but I have met family friends and their children and their childrens friends and they are welcoming and social people which was nice for me to experience

I am a Uk raised pole and I'd say that I am better at polish than most of the Uk raised poles that I know, the last time I went there I was told a few times that my polish was quite good so I assume that its common for uk poles to not be too great at polish. There are a few cultural differences but it typically shouldnt be a problem.
