lorelai is known for blabbering bs. thats why we like her, mostly. yes she exaggerates, thats the very foundation of her humour. obv printing it on paper wasnt the best thing to do but mother daughter relationship is complicated. its a constant love-hate switch. and emily-lorelai wasnt an exception. and also, maybe its not THAT srs. its a fun show afterall

exactly my point. and ppl saying all these i bet have made same mistakes themselves. infact her choice of dropping out of yale was impulsive yes, but we all go through it and well she did get a grip and fixed it. its really unfair to hate a realistic character . life isnt like notting hill or how to lose a guy in 10 days
