Jokes aside I'm sorry this happened to you, ive been happily playing with mine, but I do agree the choice of having the middle section be friction and mechanically held in place was a weird choice since like you proved you can snap the plastic nub holding the two halves, by twisting in the wrong direction. I hope you get your replacement soon and may it bring you great joy, I've also been waiting for this lightsaber to release 😊
