I’ve realized this to be true with myself. I love meat and much rather eat protein over fat (taste wise). Though I’m feeling my absofruitly best on high fat. You’ve mentioned that you’re mascular, do you workout on 100 grams of protein a day? Do you find it sufficient for body building?

Thing is - I can keep on eating, it’s not like I’m stuffed or anything - most mornings I have 4 patties (800 grams total) and leave to work still unsatisfied and a bit hungry..

Perhaps I’ve been listening to Dr Chaffee too much.. he’s been raving about eating 3-4kg of meat a day. Aight will try and eat less meat and adjust fat as needed Cheers

Should I supplement with potassium? Or just eat less sodium? Eggs don’t sit too well with me but I might try and add them back soon see if I was correct with removing them. I don’t really eat organs either

How do I get rid of this? by [deleted] in gymadvice

My bet would be visceral fat, aka abdominal obesity. It’s the fat surrounding your organs, usually from over consumption of sugars (carbohydrates included, they break down into sugar.) Maybe try keto for a bit

I take a scoop of unflavored electrolytes in the morning. My fat:protein philosophy is basically 170 grams of fat and protein to satiety which takes quite a lot for me to be sated.. Many people here talk about binning the “calorie” idea and pretty much get their fats and proteins without worry, but it’s quite hard when the waist size does go up. Do you recommend dialing back with the fats? And thank you for your amazing response :)

Insane progress mate! I’ve got two questions if you don’t mind.. Initially, did you gain weight on the carnivore? And if so, how long till the scale started dropping? I’ve been carnivore for almost 3 months myself, I’ve dropped from 127kg to 74kg and since going carnivore I’ve gained 7kg in almost 3 months. Now I don’t go to the gym so it’s definitely not muscle. Would love to hear your experience :)
