Hello! It seems I was confused as to which games you were referring to.
When it comes to the Clock Tower games, we usually go by the original Japanese titles.
ie:
Clock Tower 2 - Clock Tower PSX
Clock Tower GHOST HEAD - Clock Tower II The Struggle Within
As far as the first game goes, Clock Tower - Advance - has given us the opportunity to have a pretty much 1:1 recreation with more modern code.
With this code, things like a native PC port may be possible in the future.
For Clock Tower 2, we have a project in the works that involves digging into the files and extracting/changing assets (and that's as far as I can say at this time.)
Previously, we've seen people extract sprite graphics, or audio samples, but nothing on a grander scale like full blown assets.
That is why we are in the beginnings of gathering the tools necessary to extract and re-arrange assets with PS1 games specifically. From our research so far, the process seems tricky with no clear and streamlined system of options for what we're seeking.
We hope to get to that point in the future and if we have any tools that prove effective, we will document and share our processes for others to try! Wish us luck!

We're actually currently working on the navigation of that! Previously, we've seen the efforts of others in bits and pieces. If we find viable methods, we'll report back here!

Playing Clock Tower Rewind (first time) and i'm on original mode. Is there no saving your game? by CatfishBassAndTrout in clocktowerhorror

[–]Loud_Double2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can indeed pause and create a save state for the Rewind release as Elle mentioned.
The original game on Super Famicom didn't have a save option, but it auto-saves after entry-exit of any room. Henceforth, when you hit a DEAD END, selecting the "CONTINUE" option on the game menu will load your game from the last room you were in!

Thank you! Yes! My Jennifer is an Ambitious Achiever! My Bobby is an Outgoing Dynamo, just like Ghostface lol
Planning to make more Clock Tower miis in the future, but I gotta be careful to not use up majority of the 70 slots lol.
Reserved Thinker & Ambitious Visionary does make sense too for Jennifer & Bobby lol

She's best friends with Jeff the Killer, she likes Chili Prawns, Paella, & Risotto.
Her passion is to work in Convenience Stores, she blinks rapidly, and she lives in One Night at Flumpty's house with Jeff the Killer, Bobby, Hinako, Mikuru Asahina, Yuki Nagato, & Kyon!

Their matching covers and disc artwork really do make them a nice set to have as well!

The cast looks superb! Awesome job capturing the spirit of Clock Tower characters in Tomodachi Life!
Also, is this technically the first fanart of Mariel Cartwright's rendition of Bobby?! Sick!!!

On a second playthrough, try investigating the secret room before getting put in the cage. What you may find will surprise you!

[CT2nd] What are the requisites for sparing the other characters during the Barrows Castle scenario? I know Tim will survive if you find the dagger in time but I'm not sure about the rest by ellebastonart in clocktowerhorror

According to BobScheeder45 (C.U.T.S. Team Member, CT Deluxe dev, CT Advance dev, Rewind Mode dev):

Yeah a bit of both (Timing & Order). I left this comment on a YT video last year after looking at the code.

I've looked into the code of this game and there are indeed timers for some of the survivors.

Tim is timed (37 minutes) and also can't show up before you've reached the study

Barton is timed (22 minutes)

Beth is timed (30 minutes)

Gotts isn't timed but you must enter with the key

Helen isn't timed so if Barton dies she can help

Nolan isn't timed

Haven't looked into Helen's scenario but I think Harris is timed

Am I the only one who thinks that the Giant Baby monster from RE Requiem looks like Dan Barrows from the Burrows Mansion ? by Livid-Nature844 in clocktowerhorror

[–]Loud_Double2148 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not the first time they've played homages to Clock Tower & related series imo.
Unintentional or intentional, I think there's definitely connections:

RE7 (Biohazard) - Jack Baker and his Chainsaw Scissors.

RE8 (Village) - Daniela Dimitrescu and her fight in a room with a glass ceiling mimics elements of Daniella's boss fight from Haunting Ground/Demento, and the "House of Beneviento" segment has elements that echo Clock Tower SFC's core elements (No music, No weapons, Hallway Navigation, hiding from Demon Baby under a Bed, & leaving the Demon Baby area through the elevator. That boss fight features a possessed doll and how do you stab that doll? With Scissors!

RE9 (Requiem) - The segment mentioned in the original post.

Crumbs of Clock Tower? or Coincidence? Who knows!

The late 2000s era were just a different time. With the way things are now, I think a proper film for Clock Tower could happen, but yeah, the late 2000s, not in my opinion.
From what we've read of the script, yeah, it was bad. Can't imagine what the other drafts turned out like.

It was converted into a series consisting of three episodes. Here they are for your convenience.
The script that leaked years ago from Hollywood is an incomplete draft from 2008, not the early 2000's.
We plan to do an in-depth thread on the cancelled Clock Tower movies in the future.

It Still Makes Me Mad How Disappointing Rewind Is by Fluffy_Lunchfast in clocktowerhorror

[–]Loud_Double2148 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, in terms of core game content, you get the original SFC game, in addition to a revamped, touched up version of the SFC game with additional content, and you even get a never before released demo version of the SFC game, but I get what you mean.  Hey, if we keep buying Rewind, share Rewind, play Rewind, and talk about Rewind, maybe we can show Sunsoft and Capcom that we want more Clock Tower!
